YouTube needs to remove these videos immediately. The fact that they are all on the most viewed over the past fews days is proof that millions of kids are watching the killer's words, are absorbing his message and I pray that they are not inspired to follow him into notoriety and media fueled fame. YouTube MUST do the right thing this time. *** For those people who are ripping me for trying to squelch the mass murderer's "free speech" rights, remember that free speech only extends to the point where it will not incite people to irrational violence. Try yelling fire in a crowded theatre. Now imagine yelling "Fire!" inside of a crowded global theatre. This is the #4 site on all the internet, worldwide. To think that seeing these videos won't pour gas on some kids' already smoldering hatred is naive, stupid and irresponsible. In fact, with the several campus closings that have already happened, people need no further incitement towards violence. Or, take a look at bigbadmoefrommexico's comment: "Champions of "free speech" should take two seconds to review the actual text of the First Amendment. YouTube is not Congress and is not connected to Congress, or any other government body. It has every right to 'abridg[e] the freedom of speech.' They own this website. Indeed, it is THEIR First Amendment right to include or exclude whatever content they wish within the bounds of the law." For your reference, here's the First Amendment: Notice it makes no mention of private entities like Youtube: 1st amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The free speech argument fails here. On a more personal level, it seems to me that his final wish was that his video be the thing people remember. I think it's fitting to deny him that wish and remember instead the victims.
