Ebay pulls plug on virtual game auctions
California-based Internet auctioneer eBay has stopped sales of virtual items for online games such as 'EverQuest' and 'World of Warcraft.' EBay cited 'complex legal issues' in halting sales of virtual items that give players advantages in online gaming, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.
