Utah Reports 6 Fold Increase In West Nile Virus Infections
The sometimes deadly disease infected its first Utahns weeks earlier than last season, which was the state's worst brush with West Nile to date, with 52 human cases and one death. State health officials so far this year have reported 18 human cases compared with just three for the same time last year.
