Pfizer Plans To Cut 10,000 Jobs and Close Five Plants
Pfizer Inc., struggling with fierce competition from makers of generic drugs, said it will cut 10,000 jobs and close at least five facilities as part of an effort to slash its annual costs by up to $2 billion (EU1.55 billion) by the end of next year.
