Saudi moral police 'under attack'
Saudi Arabia, one of the world's most conservative societies, has seen an increase in attacks by members of the public against its religious police, a newspaper has reported. Al-Watan daily on Saturday published figures that revealed 21 incidents of violence against some of the country's 5,000-member moral police force by citizens in 2006.
